History

In 1921, Nemef - Nederlandse Meubelsloten Fabriek was founded. At that time, the company supplied furniture locks to the many furniture makers around Apeldoorn. From 1924 house door locks were also produced. In the middle of the last century, Nemef grew into an original Dutch A-brand. The assortment has been further expanded with the highest quality cylinders, multi-point locks, door fittings and innovative smart lock systems. Nemef has been part of the global Yale brand since 2021 and is part of the ASSA ABLOY Group.
